The end of the experience... Or not? 馃槶馃グ馃榿馃
My last day in Ireland was incredibly good. We went to school for last time. We had lessons about Musical, Spanish, Chemistry (for first time, which I loved, ´cause we did an experiment with bath bombs that the students had already made), Irish, and Social, Personal and Health Education. This last one was my favourite subject of all my time in Scoil P贸l, because we spoke and debate about healthtopics during the classes, and it was so interesting for me.
When we finished, we had dinner and met some of the Erasmus students in the school pitch, chatting for a while. After that, the Open Night of the school was going to start, so we entered there to help. In this night, loads of primary school students of the area come to the high school to see if they would like to study secondary school there. So we had to do dfferent things fo them. In my case, I helped Ruair铆 cooking some vanilla cupcakes for the students in the Home Economics room. It was very cool, and they all ate our dessert very fast, (so I suppose it was really really good 馃榿). Ruair铆's cousins and parents were there too, (two of the cousins that are twins needed to decide in which high school they wanted to study also), and his brother came to the room where we were as well. The next thing we did was walking around the school for saying goodbye to our teachers and to the rest of Irish friends that weren't in the Erasmus programme. So we came back home and talked with Ruair铆's parents before going to bed.
On Friday, I had to wake up very early for going to the airport. First, I said goodbye to Robert and Freddie 馃惗, and Trisha drove Ruair铆 and to the school for taking the us to the airport of Dublin. There, I said goodbye to her andwe started our journey with the rest of the Erasmus students. It was a long time until we arrived in the airport, but we finally got there. It was very sad, but we had to say goodbye to all of the Irish students, and a lot of us cried. I was sad, obviously, but both Ruair铆 and me knew that we would see eachother again in April whn they all come to Logro帽o! So I hugged everyone and took some pictures with them. Then, we said goodbye again, for last time 馃槄, and we took the plane. After that, I had to take another bus with four of my mates to arrive home and see my family again.
After all the experince, I can confirm that the Erasmus programme is something unique, and very beautiful. I´ve made new friends froma different country, I´ve studied in another country's school, I´ve been in loads of great sights of it... So the conclusions that I draw are that I´ve improved a lot in all aspects: personally and academically. I'm very pleased to my host family, and to every single person that has made tis possible. I can just say thank you. And this hasn't finished yet, so keep informed, ´causemaybe Ruair铆 will have totell you all of his experience in another blog 馃榾! Until then, thanks for everything and see you very soon!
