Some cool activities ahead! 馃Ч馃彊

 On my second thursday in Ireland, another traditional Irsh music and dancing was waiting for us. But, before we did that activity, we went to school in the morning as a normal weekday. It is great to go there, ´cause I´ve made loads of new friends from this country, and also because I enjoy the subjects that we have here, as I tod you in earlier entries.

 So after school, we came back home, relaxed, and prepared ourselves for the night.  Actually, this time we also had to bring brushes, because we were doing the brush dancing again. When we arrived there, we took a seat in the hall, and waited for the show. All the foreign students were there, and there were a few teachers and a little orchestrain in which Scoil P贸l students played. One of our Erasmus mates, Gear贸id, was part of it, and he was playing the violin. They all did really good! Some of the musicians also demonstrated us how they danced the brush dance. It seemed they were proffesional dancers! In between some of the song that they performanced, Gear贸id's mum (that teaches Irish dancing) showed us how to dance 3 diferent irish dance: 2 in pairs and, the brush dancing, which she also taught us the last time. The orchestra played the corresponding music. I felt so good, it was really fun! When we finished, we had some food, and we all chated and played some games (one of them were the darts, and I was so good in them). So the day was over, and we all went home after that. 

On Friday, there was a trip planned: we were visiting Cork. In the morning, we took a train to go there. When we arrived, we went to the Marina Market, which was very big, and had loads of souvenirs and food that we could buy. There I tried an amazing strawberry cake which actually looked like a strawberry! It was so yummy! Delicious! We also walked around the city during the journey, while we were sightseeing (I entered in a beautiful church, we saw huge cathedrals and walked through the English Market of Cork) and also buying more things 馃槄. After almost 5 hours of fun in Cork, we came back and chilled at home.

Arrival and first feelings of IRELAND 馃嚠馃嚜☘️馃寛

On September 12th, 2025, eleven spanish Erasmus students arrived in Cork´s airport for starting a unique experience: our great trip to Ireland. The first thing we saw in the airport was our Irish mates with welcome banners! After that, we met our respective hosts, and we set off towards their school. We played and got to know during  the way there, and my Irish partner, Ruair铆, explained me loads of things of Ireland. When the bus arrived in Scoil P贸l (this was the name of the school), Ruair铆's parents picked us up, and drove us to their house, were we rested after that long day. (I had to take two buses and a plane from my city, Logro帽o.) My first feelings were that we were all going to be very comfortable in the different houses of our Irish families, because all ther students were very kind with us from the firts moment. Now it’s school time 馃彨

 During our first week in Ireland we had done loads of  cool activities and tried many sports. But after all that fun, it was time to go to school and try to learn new things in the language that we had been learning for so long (almost 14 years 馃槄): English.  So we started our first complete school day on thursday. I had 5 classes that day, instead of 6, ´cause on thursdays and fridays we finish school earlier. So, the 5 subjects that I had were Musical, Spanish, P.E.,  Irish, and Social, Personal and Health Education. My favourite one was Irish, because there I learnt a lot of useful sentences in that language that we after recorded as a convertation with Ruair铆. That day wasn´t to busy, we came back home after school, and we just chilled. On friday, we also had just 5 subjects (which were Musical, Geography, Religious Education, English and Home Economics), but we actually missed lat classe ´cause we helped preparing the Scoil P贸il's Awards Night. Creating the routine 馃殰

 After our quick adaptation during the first three days in Irland, we started to create a very busy and fun routine. The day after out trip on Monday, the Erasmus students we all met for going to the National Ploughing Championships of Ireland, that was being celebrated during a few days of that week.  In my case, I took the train with Ruair铆, and after that, we also took a bus until we arrived to the huge enclosure where this big event had been placed. There, we joined the rest of the Erasmus group, and we enjoyed the more than 500 stands of agricultural machinery, sport clothes, food, and all type of innovating and traditional products that we could purchase. (The Spanish students we were all very amazed by a masive Tiktok stand where we took some pictures). In the championships, there also was a big funfair, where I could rode one of the ride whit Ruair铆. It was very fun, and we laughed a lot too!
